Ethelwulf, a Memphis-based rapper, takes the word "phonk" to a whole new level. After stalking him on twitter and listening to all of his tracks,we know he's Raider Klan repping, and we've heard about his ordeals with the weedman, but who is Ethelwulf?
Well we recently caught up with Ethel, and he was a easy going fella.

(SS:) Where did you get the name Ethelwulf?
(Ethelwulf:) He was the King of England a really long time ago, I chose the the name because it means nobel, which I am to my BRK family.
How did your connection with the Raider Klan and SGP begin?
I got invited into the Raider Klan after my 1st mixtape "
Wolf Gang's Rodolphe", Purrp was feeling my music so he put me down with them.
Not really, It's just that Phonky shit I like...I'm influenced by everyone in the Raider Klan, Bone Thugs, Korn, System of the Down but I mostly like rock bands.
Do you produce your own tracks and/or play any instruments?
No...not yet at least. When I was in middle school I used to pay the snare drums, I love bass.
How do you separate your self from other upcoming artists?
By just being me....I know its cliché and all but its the truth.
